Through partnerships with different stakeholders, our Community Infrastructure interventions are aimed at improving the quality of life for marginalised communities. Access to essential services is often hampered by lack of appropriate infrastructure hence our drive is to ensure young people and other community members do not lag behind in accessing social services. From ablution facilities to rehabilitation centres our aim is to provide a service where constraints have existed .
The centre is located in the City of Mbombela Mpumalanga. A project funded under the National Lotteries Commission to the value of R17million the facility is aimed at providing support services to young people going through substance use. With a capacity of over 35 clients at a time excluding out-patients ,the facility boasts o fa sprawling sports centre , a community hall , a swimming pool and other state-of-the-art features. As the project is still in its construction phase at near completion it has provided temporary employment to nearly 25 young people within the community. More young people are expected to form a huge part of the staff when it opens its doors for operations!
