Old Age Home

Overview

Through partnerships with different stakeholders, our Community Infrastructure interventions are aimed at improving the quality of life for marginalised communities. Access to essential services is often hampered by lack of appropriate infrastructure hence our drive is to ensure young people and other community members do not lag behind in accessing social services. From ablution facilities to rehabilitation centres  our aim is to provide a service where constraints have existed .

In November of 2021 , the Department of Social Development delegation led by the Deputy Minister Hendrietta Ipeleng Bogopane-Zulu and the Free State MEC M.G. Qabathe visited the site for an inspection. A closed door meeting was held for purposes of preparing the organisation according to acceptable standards of the department. Initially designed to cater for the elderly, the facility has since been repurposed to become a halfway house.
Recently we were privileged enough to have the Minister herself Ms Lindiwe Zulu stopping by for a visit Before the facility starts operating the Department continues to engage with SAYM to ensure everything is above board.
